When asked why she wanted to do journalism she said “I’ve always been really interested in writing…and [I’m] considering journalistic writing as a career path growing up…and I wanted to be more involved.” Fifer would like to continue Journalism in college but she is also using this as an opportunity to do more around Hickman
“It’s not super intense at Hickman…It’s a high school, not the real world, but, [I want to write about] breaking news and like, just events going on…[things] people should know about.” Fifer is planning on writing about breaking news and wants to help Hickman by informing people of recent events that are important to know, saying she wanted to be more involved at Hickman.
