My interest in aviation began in 5th grade. Originally, I was scared of flying and I thought it was really dangerous. My dad went for a business meeting and he came back and that’s when I started to get interested in it. I began to think that maybe it was fun and sounded cool. When I joined Journalism in freshman year, we’d take a trip every year to a journalism conference and we got to fly there. I was scared the first year we went, but I still really enjoyed it. We went again last year, and now my fear of flying is gone. I really enjoy flying. I also really enjoy the Microsoft Flight Simulator.
I started to take fitness a little more seriously over the break. During the break, I was really bored and didn’t know what to do since school was out for such a long time. So, I decided to take up fitness. I wasn’t very pleased with the way I looked then; I was pretty skinny and wanted to put on a little muscle. I am pleased with how I look now. Even though we are in school, it is something I have a passion for now. I hope to keep doing this as long as I can. I like to go walking at night specifically because it’s really quiet and there’s not a lot of people. It’s very peaceful, especially when it’s warm out. I like to FaceTime friends or listen to music. I just walk around my neighborhood. It is pretty fun to walk at night.
I got into politics because I am an extremely opinionated person. It started when I saw a YouTube video on capitalism and economics. I didn’t understand at first, but then I started to look more into it. That’s mainly why I joined Journalism. A lot of what I write about is politics. I met this guy named Nate freshman year and we would always share each other's views and opinions.
