Senior Kyra Skaggs is making the most of her last year at Hickman.
She is currently in an Independent Study for the P&G.
“I'm productive in a way, this year, that I'm having fun,” she stated.
Kyra lived in Fayette, Missouri for the majority of her life.
“I feel like I'm more prepared for college in ways [here] that Fayette didn't prepare me,” Kyra said.
With dreams to travel the world and meet new people, Kyra will have to work hard. She is currently taking Professions in Health Care. She plans to receive her Associates degree at MACC through the A+ program.
“I'm going to do [the] LPN to RN Bridge Program. And then I'm going to transfer to another college, possibly Mizzou,” Kyra explained.
After all of that, she hopes to visit places like Yellowstone and Niagara Falls.
“My aunt is going through all the national parks, so I kind of want to do that too. And she brings back pictures and it's magnificent the things that you'll see.”
