Jelly Milo

Jelly Milo, Reporter

Engelle (Jelly) Milo is a senior at Hickman High School, and she is the middle child in a large family.

Jelly participates in lots of activities, but one she has been getting into more lately is dance. “I’ve been a dancer for about five years; I was in high steppers, and I did a little bit of gymnastics when I was little.”

Jelly joined the Hickman dance team, the Kewpie Girls, this year stating, “This is my first year doing it [dance] for Hickman”.

Jelly also has lots of hobbies including watching a variety of shows and crocheting. Jelly reveals she really likes watching k-dramas, action movies and even some anime. She enjoys crochet, including making a blanket for her little cousin. “I’ve really been into apocalypse movies, like I’m so ready for this to happen.”

In the future, Milo is looking to go to college. She has not decided where to go yet, but she plans on studying marine biology.

Oddly enough she doesn’t like the water but seemed very excited at the thought of learning more about its inhabitants one day, “You know a lot of people don’t know about the animals in the ocean, including me. Fish, and other types of squid and octopus are really interesting for some reason.”
